Ingredients
· 4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
· Black pepper to taste
· 100 g grated cheese
· 1 packet white onion soup powder
· 250 ml fresh cream
Preparation
1. Layer half of the potato slices in a shallow casserole dish
2. Sprinkle with pepper and half of the grated cheese.
3. Mix the soup powder with the 250 ml cream and pour half of it on top of the layered potato slices.
4. Layer the rest of the potato slices on top.
5. Sprinkle with pepper.
6. Pour the remaining of the soup mixture over it.
7. Sprinkle the rest of the grated cheese on top.
8. Bake uncovered in a pre-heated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 1 hour or until tender.
